Ylvis is a variety show group from Bergen, Norway, consisting of the two brothers Bård Ylvisåker (born 1982) and Vegard Ylvisåker (born ca 1979). The brothers originated from Sogn, but grew up in Bergen and Africa.

On September 3, 2013, they uploaded a music video called The Fox to YouTube, which went viral.

Rebekka Karijord, born 19 November 1976 in Sandnessjøen, is a Norwegian born, Stockholm, Sweden-based musician and composer. After creating music for over 30 films, Karijord recordedThe Noble Art of Letting Go released to the UK and Europe. Afterwards, she went on tours to Scandinavia and Europe. There were also song placements on BBC and ABC Television, and the world touring nouveau cirque Cirkus Cirkör performance Wear it Like a Crown being based upon Rebekkas song of the same title. Music from Norway – Wardruna

Wardruna is a musical project based on Nordic spiritualism and the runes of the Elder Futhark. It was started by Einar “Kvitrafn” Selvik in 2003, along with Gaahl and Lindy Fay Hella.

The project began in 2003 and has since released two albums, each based on a set of runes. There are plans to release at least one more disc, based on eight more of the runes.(wikipedia)

Real Ones performs a very distinct indie/folk style of music.  They are friends who grew up together and played music together since their youth. Even though the band members are only in their mid-twenties Real Ones has existed for 11 years, and has after all this time gained a reputation on the Northern European indie scene as one of the most ballistic live acts.  Real One have a new album out Tonight, Only Tonight and this is their first single “Seperation Blues.”

Young Dreams are a band from Bergen, Norway.  They have a new album Between Places.  This is the music video for the song “First Days of Something“.  The music video feels more like a short film with an excellent soundtrack.  The band describe their album is “about documenting and capturing the sound of people trying the best they can. And that’s maybe one of the most beautiful things in the world.”

Music from Norway – Jenny`s Vision Project

Jenny`s Vision Project is a pop ballad music project from Norway, started in 1991. But they went different paths and Øivind Kristian Stavik invested in a home studio in 2012. So, they’re back, and already released some tracks. Their nice song “The Greatest Faith with vocals” was written in 1996 after one of Jenny`s Vision members mother died. Dedicated to her, but also hope it will be helpful for others:
