Music from the US – Steve Gorn

Steve Gorn (* in New York City) is an American jazz and world musician (soprano saxophone, flutes).
Gorn studied composition at the Pennsylvania State University. Under the influence of musicians such as Bismallah Khan, Ravi Shankar and Ali Akbar Khan, his interest in Eastern music was born. In 1969 he went to Benares, where he met the Sarangimaster Gopal Misra and then in Calcuttahe was  student of Bansurimaster  Gour Goswami
