Alvin Lee (born December 19, 1944 in Nottingham, † March 6, 2013 ) was a British blues-rock guitarist and singer. He died today at the age of 68.

He was a member of the band “Ten Years after ” which he founded together with Leo Lyons in 1967. They became famous with their gig at the Woodstoc Festival (I´m going home”)
