Music from Germany – Migthy Oaks

The Migthy Oaks are a german folk music band from Berlin. Singer Ian Hooper who crew up in the south of Seattle, came to Germany in 2008 and met Claudio Donzelli from Italy und Craig Saunders from Englang in Hamburg. After several jobs and studies, they decided to focus on their music and formed the band in 2010. Listen to their great song “Brother”:

Wooden Shjips (pronounced ‘ships’) is a space rock/psychedelic rock band from San Francisco, USA, formed 2006. They have been compared to Suicide, Loop, The Velvet Underground, The Doors, Soft Machine and Guru Guru.

Lindsey Stirling is an american violinist. She is famous for her choreographed violin performances. She is kind of crazy, but the violin and the electronic sounds fit together perfectly. She composes very catchy melodies and I don’t miss anyone singing, the songs are excellent in their very own way.

The Underscore Orkestra is one of the most peculiar style that i’ve heard. They play  a blend of Balkan, Klezmer, Gypsy Jazz and Swing. How can it be possible?  Well, listen to ” Blue Draggish”.
