He frequently performed with the slogan This Machine Kills Fascists displayed on his guitar. His best-known song is “This Land Is Your Land.” Yesterday was his 100st birthday . The song “this land is your land” became the secret second national anthem of the US and was played also at the inauguration of President Obama.
