John Grant is an American singer-songwriter. Formerly associated with the Denver-based alternative rock band The Czars in the 1990s and early 2000s,he launched a career as a solo artist in 2010.  He has suffered homophobic abuse, parental rejection, agoraphobia, depression, drug addiction and alcoholism, and was recently diagnosed HIV positive. His music documents his attempts to overcome his trials.  His new album Pale Green Ghosts will be released March 11th.  Sinead O’Connor sings backing vocals for the album.  This is the single “Pale Green Ghosts.”
