Les Beignets – Who are they?

You remember, a long time ago you voted for the featured band “Les Beignets”. This week, we’ll feature them as the first featured band on World Music.

Severin,born in 1985, playing the bass

Gregor, born in 1988, vocals and saxophone

Thomas, born in 1986, playing the guitar

Alex, born in 1985, playing the drum kit

Felix, born in 1987, playing the piano

Julian, born in 1986, playing the trumpet

Max, born in 1978, playing the saxophone

Lukas, born in 1990, playing the trumpet

They’re performing a great mix of funk, reggae and soul music, and were formed in 2005 in the south of munich. They released already three albums: Groovin(live), Kurzurlaub(2009) and Releasing Our Soul(2011). They affect playing live, and composing own songs. Their label is “Downhill Records”.
