Tolu Akande is the 2nd child of Nigerian immigrants who made their way to Chicago, IL in hopes of securing a better lifestyle for themselves and their future children. Have a listen to his great christmas song “Wa,Ẹyin Olotọ”:
With their song “Do They Know It’s Christmas (2014)”, the project Band Aid 30 (formed the first time in 1984 by Bob Geldof and Midge Ure for the fight against hunger in Ethiopia) started this proejct a fourth time for the fight against Ebola. The most popular musicians of Band Aid 30 are One Direction, Chris Martin (Coldplay), Sinéad O’Connor, Bono (U2), Robert Plant (Led Zeppelin), Sam Smith, Ellie Goulding, Ed Sheeran, Clean Bandit, Emeli Sandé, Rita Ora and Bastille.
Listen to the song “The Spirit of Christmas” by 11-year-old UK boy called Fynnjan with Aspergers Syndrome. It’s raising money to help special educational needs provision in mainstream schools for children with autism and Aspergers – primarily through the National Autistic Society and Nordoff Robbins music therapy. I’m very impressed of this!
