Music from Angola – Filipe Mukenga

Filipe Mukenga, is an Angolan musician and songwriter born in Luanda in 1949. Mukenga started sing in 1964 influenced by  Beatles. He collaborated with bands like Os Brucutus, Os Indómitos, The Five Kings, The Black Stars, os Rocks, os Electrónicos, os Jovens and Apollo XI.

Performing Semba, Afro-jazz, Kilapanga and afro-fusion, Mukenga make miracle with his music. I hope you enjoy this wonderful melody about peace, unity, fraternity and also against  anger and war: “Angola no Coração” (Angola on my heart).
