Music from Germany – Andreas Bourani

Andreas Bourani , a singer/songwriter from Augsburg /Germany with german/eyptian roots. The 27 year old Bourani released his first album in 2011 and had with the song “Nur in meinem Kopf ” a number one hit single in Germany. After his first success , he seemed to have disappeared ,  until May 2014 , when he released his new single “Auf uns” which became the official german world championship song 2014 and if you have watched the final between Argentina and Germany you could hear it after the game when the officials gave the cup to the german team.

Today the german team came back to Berlin/germany and half a million people waited on the street to welcome them , at least 400000 in front of the Brandenburger Tor , where Bourani opened the welcome party with his song.

and in better quality the official video from the song

In 2011 i had the honour to see Bourani in a Mini Concert , about 100 invited  guests have been there here is my report ( in german from 2011 ) Bourani changed a little bit , his haircut is shorter than 2011.
