King Short Shirt aka McLean Emmanuel better known as “Short Shirt” was born on 28th February, 1942. He first entered the calypso competition in Antigua in 1962 and was not successful in passing the eliminations. He returned with a vengeance in 1963, by claiming the 2nd runner up position.
