Martyn Bennett (17 February 1971 – 30 January 2005) was a Scottish musician who was born in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. He was influential in the evolution of modern Celtic fusion, a blending of traditional Celtic and modern music.

Snow Patrol are an alternative band out of Dendee, Scotland that formed in 1994.  The band has released six albums.  This is by far my favorite song of theirs, a truly beautiful song, “Chasing Cars.”  Also watch our previously posted song,”Shut Your Eyes.”

Casual Sex are a new indie band out of Glascow.  They are being called ‘the new Franz Ferdinand’.  This is their debut single “Stroh 80” – “about being caught doing the nasty with your girlfriend’s pal in the aftermath of a drug party on the floor of a local occultist”, according to frontman Sam Smith.
