Hey Stan. Great selection. I’ve always liked the exploratory sound of Hassel. There are just a few trumpeters who go in this direction. I am lying here iin bed after having slipped and fell on black ice, spaining my thigh. So “Amsterdam Blues was perfect. I am going to reblog it. Thanks for all the great music you share with us.
thank you Walter

Great track if you are feeling a little blue. And I am, after having sprained my thigh on black ice today. I love the music of Jon Hassell. Thanks World Music for the post.
Fusion is always great!
Talking about trumpeters, I love the trumpet solo that suddenly peeps at the end of this reggae song, because it adds an unexpected and delightful jazz touch to it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zOwPBykLOE.
