Jon Hassell (born March 22, 1937 in Memphis (Tennessee)) is an American trumpeter and composer of fusion music. He is known for his influence on the world music scene and his acoustic and electronic changes of the trumpet sound. Here is Amsterdam Blues

Hey Stan. Great selection. I’ve always liked the exploratory sound of Hassel. There are just a few trumpeters who go in this direction.
