Music from the UK – The Alan Parsons Project

The Alan Parsons Project was a British musical project that can be attributed to the progressive rock or art rock. The band was founded by Alan Parsons and Eric Woolfson and existed from 1975 to 1987. Here arte two songs , the instrumental “Lucifer” and “Eye in the Sky”

  1. Eye in the Sky is one of my favourite AP albums, for several reasons. An old friend of mine, Bob Howes, arranged the English Chorale vocals on the album (which are wonderful) and I also (believe it or not) once sang ‘Eye in the Sky’ as a duet with another old friend, Tony Christie, down here in Spain! :-)

  2. I found some really interesting stuff on your blog, but finding Alan Parsons made my day. Despite my eclectic music tastes everything from Abba to ZZ Top through Mozart, Madonna and Motorhead, I always return to the Alan Parsons Project. Alan was also the engineer on Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon. I have also sung Parsons, a cover version of Limelight.
