Music from UK – Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band

Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band is a underground beat band from London, Uk in the Sixties. Between 1966 and 1972 they released 4 album and several singles. They have been well-known for their musical and optical arangements and their satirical lyrics.  Members of this group worked later together in other projects like Monty Phyton Flying Circus  or as example with Mike Oldfield in “Tubular Bells ” as the Master of the Ceremonies or with Eric Idle (the Rutles ) or John Lennon and Yoko Ono. Really amazing ! This is their song “The Urban Spaceman”

  1. Utter genius! This song was produced by “Apollo C. Vermouth” – a pseudonym for Paul McCartney. Vivia Stanshall was a troubled genius, who was plagued by mental illness, but nevertheless created the incredible and quintessentially English “Sir Henry at Rawlinson End” , which starred Trevor Howard, and he wrote the beautiful lyrics to Steve Winwood’s “Arc of a diver”. The Bonzo’s are a National Treasure.
