“Like” is far too mild a word…. Guo Gan exhibits absolute genius! His kung fu on this one-stringed instrument is nothing short of extraordinary. As a guitar player ( a rank amateur in comparison to this) I can appreciate how incredibly difficult learning to play this instrument must be, especially to be able to infuse the melody with such feeling and expression with vibrato and stretching of the single string. Excuse my french, but it is simply fucking unique, and almost unbelievable…. Lang Lang is, of course, also a genius, but he was as enthralled with the performance as everyone else present obviously was…. thank you for a wonderful find and share…..
