I love this song. I bought the Violator cassette when it came out…
I’ve been following Depeche Mode since their debut album, “Speak & Spell,” in 1981. I found it at a unique import record shop in College Station, Texas, where they were playing it on their store stereo system. I did get behind for a while and just got their “Sounds of the Universe” album, released in 2009, a few months ago.
Definitely a favorite.
Depeche Mode are among my most favoutire bands of all time. Great choice of a track :)

In the 80’s, in Lisbon, there were good bars and good clubs with very good music. I listened without ever getting tired: Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, Cure (in the 90’s), Spandau Ballet, Talk Talk, Roxy Music …
Today, there is a nightclub called Plateau survivor of those times where we can hear and dance the music of these bands ;)
One of my favorite Depeche Mode songs. Excellent. This music still sounds fresh and good.
