In surfing, the green room is the inside of a barrel that is produced by a wave. This term was coined due to the colour of light reflected into the barrel. Others terms: tunnel, cylinder, pit, shack, hole, keg, the womb, the Pope’s living room…
oh, this is one of the best photos I’ve seen!! Watching surfers is great, and waves are impressive too! Thanks Willy!
@ xandimusic, I would just like to Thank You for visiting my blog, and I agree, a very nice photo indeed. :)
What a super cool capture.
I’ll take the last comment a little further… what a super cool RAPTURE! As a kid growing up in North America, I surfed both coasts from 1st Street in Florida to Cape Hatteras NC and Huntington Beach to Vancouver Island; never as pure or as exotic as this. This is wonderful. It’s been years since I got in the water with a board; but you know what they say… there is no such thing as an ex-surfer! Thanks very much for this, it’s a treasure for the eyes!
Boh, eh, das sind ja die richtigen Namen, wer kann denn so tolle Aufnahmen zaubern, klasse.
Danke!
