Music from Lebanon – Ara Malikian

Ara Malikian is one of my favorites violinists. He is a “genius”of music, gave his first concert at the age of 12 and when he was 14 he was invited to study in Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hannover in Berlin. Listen to “Aires Armenios”.

He  also has  a project along with three more musicians “Pagagnini”, which is a funny musical show. Listen to ” Canon in D”.

Music from Brazil – Roupa Nova

Roupa Nova (in english: New Cloths) is a brazilian pop band, who had several hits in the 1980s and 1990s. They formed in the 1970s under the name Os Famks and reached ten #1 singles so far. Here’s their probably most popular song “Linda Demais” in an acousti version. Really like it!!
