Formed in 1995 by the childhood friends Miles Doughty and Kyle McDonald, Slightly Stoopid released 7 albums so far. They band from Ocean Beach, California crew and generated its own musical sytle: “a fusion of folk, rock, reggae and blues with hip-hop, funk, metal and punk”. DJ and producer Johan Hugo and Esau Mwamwaya, a singer from Malawi are the collaboration The Very Best. Their music is really an awesome fusion mix of traditional african music, jazz, dance, pop and hip-hop. Listen to their great song “Hear Me”:
