The Pretenders are a british rockband formed 1978. They named themselves after the hit of the Platters “The Great Pretender ” They released their last album in 2008 . This is their song “I go to sleep”

A great band…perhaps one of the best singles bands. Let’s remember James Honeyman Scott, the guitarist who co-founded the group. He died in 1982. RIP James.
