The Kordz were known across Lebanon as the hardest working band and it has paid off as they have risen to the pinnacle of the Middle Eastern and Mediterranean rock scene. This is their song “Purgatory” off of their debut album Beauty and the East.

I caught this band in a feature on BBC World News while I was touring around Crete. Really interesting band – and nice to see a twist on ‘western band with eastern influences’ to ‘eastern band with western influences’. :-)
